Milford & District Resource Centre is delighted to announce the sale of exclusive print designs, based on historical maps of local areas in the wider Milford district. These modern and stylish prints are inspired by late Georgian and early Victorian maps drawn in the area, including as part of Griffith’s Valuation, in the mid-19th century. The prints are A4 in size and come in white frames with matching white mounts, totaling 30cm X 40cm in size. The detail on the maps is informed by the original cartographer’s notes and illustrations showing historic features in our local towns and villages.

These beautiful pieces are a modern twist on traditional maps and make for the perfect Christmas gift for family or friends, at home or abroad. When you purchase a map print from Milford & District Resource Centre you are not only supporting local and buying Donegal-produced art, you are also supporting the local community financially as all proceeds go back into the not-for-profit work of the resource centre.

Prints are available of the following areas: Carrigart, Downings, Fanad, Kerrykeel, Kilmacrenan, Milford, Ramelton and Rathmullan.

Each print costs €35.00 and is available to buy in the Milford & District Resource Centre office, which is open Monday-Thursday 9am-5.30pm and Fridays 9am-4.30pm.
