The MDRC Community Health and Wellbeing Garden is a work in progress. Located on site behind the resource centre this small space will be converted into an attractive outdoor space which will be open to use by all members of the community during the day and will be available to book for events and programmes at weekends.

The garden will be designed in accordance with up-to-date research on the benefits of plants and gardening for patients and those living with particular life-long conditions. The garden will be a sensory and interactive space, meaning it will be particularly beneficial to those who are neuro-divergent or those living with dementia.
