As part of the Milford Town Centre First Plan, MDRC are putting forward a proposal for a Town Park to be included as part of considerations so that the people of the community can have their say.

Residents, school-goers and business owners are all welcome to take part in the ongoing public consultation, which is being carried out by Donegal County Council and GM Design Associates as part of the Milford Town Centre First Plan. A public drop-in consultation will take place on Wednesday, February 22nd from 3pm-8pm in the Milford Council Offices and everyone is asked to attend to highlight issues they feel the Town Centre First Plan should address, as well as to put forward ideas they may have for key sites in Milford.

MDRC’s proposal on a Town Park for Milford is an updated version of an older plan which the organisation’s manager, Declan Meehan, made for the Council in 2020. It can be viewed here. If people wish to support this idea then they can express that support via the in-person or online consultation.
