We also have 8 Walking & Cycling Routes on the back roads leading onto the main Mulroy Drive (featured on our website at “Walking & Cycling Routes).

Aquaculture & Marine

There is a thriving marine aquaculture business on the bay with mussel farming, scallop farming, oyster farming and salmon farming. Mulroy Bay is one of the few bays in the world where we have a natural settlement of scallop spat. The water in the bay is monitored weekly by the department of marine and is one of the cleanest bays in the country.

Lough Swilly Ferry

The Mulroy Drive is ideally located to continue exploring the rest of Donegal from. Why not continue your trip for the day on to Inishowen by using the Lough Swilly Ferry? The car ferry service connects the Fanad & Inishowen peninsulas (from Rathmullan to Buncrana) & operates from the June Bank Holiday weekend to September.
